Preschool: Ages 3-4

Our preschool program is offered Tuesday – Thursday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Monday – Friday. The preschool children will experience a variety of activities in science, math, art, religion, and movement and music. Each week the children will have time to explore the computer lab. We do follow the Early Learning Content Standards as set for by the State of Ohio Department of Education. The preschool program runs 9:00 – 11:30.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

The pre-kindergarten program is designed to help get the child for kindergarten the following year. The children will explore all areas as indicated in the Early Learning Content Standards. Science, math, art, religion, social studies, literacy, and movement and music will be incorporated in their weekly schedule. Each child will have the opportunity to spend time on the computers in our computer lab. The pre-kindergarten program is offered Tuesday – Thursday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Monday – Friday. The pre-k program runs 9:00-11:30.

DAY CARE

The day care program is designed to accommodate the working parent. All of the children in the day care portion of our program will participate in the morning preschool or pre-kindergarten classes, but continue their day with us instead of going home at 11:30. The child will eat lunch, nap, and explore teacher and self directed activities in the afternoon. The children in this program can be dropped off as early as 7:00 a.m. and stay as late as 6:00 p.m.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL (INCLUDING KINDERGARTEN)

This program was designed as a safe place for your child to “hang out” until the parents can pick them up. Each child, in grade 1-8, is afforded the opportunity to do home work, play games, art projects and of course eat a snack. The children in this program may be dropped off in the morning before school and must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. The children will be walked to and from the school by a Center Staff person.

SUMMER PROGRAM

The summer program is divided into two groups of children.  The ones who have completed kindergarten thru grade six, and the children 3 thru pre-kindergarten. The older school age children will have opportunities to go on fieldtrips to such places as the Columbus Zoo, Cincinnati Museum Center, Charleston Falls, and Wegerzyn Gardens Metro Park just to name a few. They will feel  refreshed  swimming twice a week at Fair Valley Swim Club and spend time at the Center participating in arts and crafts and Free Fridays!  The younger children will enjoy their laid back summers spending time outside, swimming in a wading pool or sprinkler and producing some amazing art projects.  The Center is opened from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00  Monday-Friday.
